However, some form of mild agitation to keep the solution moving over heaters is recommended. Quartz electrical heaters may also be used. Teflon steam coils are the best method of heating a large bath. Teflon or PVDF may be used, but these are usually too costly. For oxide/slag removal from Cobalt Chrome CoCr Cleaner™ (RDZ-1881) is an acidic bath used for cleaning and deoxidizing Cobalt/Chromium alloys to render them suitable for use in medical or aerospace applications.
